The Poncho Liner Fleece is primarily designed to be a insulative under layer for the Poncho, but is commonly used in the hammock to provide a layer between the nylon and the skin, it can also be worn separately or be used as a blanket. We use Fleece by Polartec exclusively, a premium grade of domestic fabric. Never confuse this with cheap imitations. The fleece tends to shed water and it easy to dry if it becomes wet.

PSS Liner - Fleece Poncho Liner
The Liner is a perfect companion to our PSS or poncho. It adds comfort while wearing the PSS as a poncho and also can be used as a inner liner when using the poncho as a hammock. We sell only authentic Polartec®. It is the highest quality product of its kind available anywhere in the world, and it is made in the U.S.A. It can even be used alone without the PSS if not too windy. The Liner attaches to the poncho with snaps that match the poncho. The snaps are double sided so they can then snap together to form a poncho or even a blanket. **SIZE NOTES** LENGTH - Liners are made to match poncho size. XL length matchS a PSSxL poncho, however, most people would not want an XL Liner as it's adding fleece for the front shin area, however choose what you want based on use. WIDTH - xWide this is for xWide ponchos also the Mulitcam Ultralite. Snaps fit any poncho.

Add a Compressor Gear Bag for your Fleece Liner

Compressor Gear Bag
Our compressor bags are designed out of lighter weight super strong versions of Invista Cordura® fabric. This fabric allows easy compression of the bag to save space, while still being incredibly strong to protect your gear. Using a triangular orientation our compressor strap design provides quick simple compression of your gear using three straps rather than the common four. All straps are sturdy nylon, acetyl buckles, stitching well reinforced.

About our Fleece-We sell only authentic Polartec®. It is the highest quality product of its kind available anywhere in the world, and it is made in the U.S.A.

Our Poncho Fleece Liner has sturdy reinforced  edge tabs into which our double sided snaps are attached. This special snap arrangement found nowhere else allows the liner to both snap into the existing snaps on the PSS series Ponchos and also snap together to form a sealed edge poncho. We use a slit neck hole rather than a round one typically found in this type of garment, the idea is that we are able to capture and seal in more body heat than other methods. This means more of your core body heat stays there and does not “chimney” out the neck hole.

Using the Poncho Liner also turns the PSS series Poncho into an emergency cold weather shin length coat that is very effective. It is incredibly warm when used as a seated bivy in the eskimo style. It can also be fashioned into a sort of mummy bag, or it can be worn by itself. The Poncho Liner Fleece is an extremely versatile piece of clothing shelter gear. The Liner also adds comfort between the skin and the nylon of the Poncho shell.

Check out our post on Facebook showing the liner in a variety of uses and showing an easy way to carry it.
