| This bag is intended for exactly what it says, scavenging, that is when you are hiking toward a campsite, just clip this bag to your pack or belt or use a light shoulder strap, then when you see that dead maple or birch tree with bark hanging half off, just grab it and and peel out the fine dry inner bark, shove it in the bag. When you get to camp you already have your tinder. It can also be used to collect whatever else you want, like berries, roots, arrowheads, leaves for study in plant ID.
